Have you checked out your winery on Yelp?
Just like having a (free) Google Alert and a (free) Twitter Search for your winery name and related phrases, it's always good to know what people are saying about you on customer-generated review sites like Yelp.
For example, here are user-generated reviews of wineries near Paso Robles, CA from Yelp.
And of course, you may want to try a search like "Acme Winery" sucks -- just to see if anyone thinks so. Placing the name in quotes returns pages with the phrase "Acme Winery" and the single word "sucks" on them. Placing the all the words in quotes ("Acme Winery sucks") will return pages with that complete phrase on them.
Would you rather not know what people are saying about you?
Cruvee.com is a great way to monitor your wine brand in the social media space. I saw a demo of the product a couple weeks ago and it looked impressive. (Not sure if it's reading in Yelp reviews or not)
