I think the idea of tribes is important in marketing, but I don't know if another short Godin book is going to be that great. But, thanks for letting me know about it.
I just read Buying In by Walker and liked it. Walker discusses the concept of tribes. His blog is http://www.murketing.com/journal/
There is a good video called "People Like Us: Social Class in America" that compares tribes in the US and has a section titled "Bud or Bordeaux?"!
