Alltop (www.alltop.com) is a site which brings together all the "top" stories on a given topic, e.g. wine.
We import the stories of the top news websites and blogs for any given topic and display the headlines of the five most recent stories ...When you place the cursor over a headline, we display part of the story so that you can decide if you’d like to read it. To read the story, click on its title. To go to the home page of the site, click on its domain name.
All the usual suspects (and some you probably haven't heard of) are there, which is the point of an aggregator like Alltop: to expose you to (useful, interesting, entertaining) information you might otherwise have missed. It's another way of keeping your finger on the pulse of the online wine world.
Their method for selecting which sites are "top" is a bit subjective, but as long as the results are useful, you probably don't care (hey, they don't include The Winery Web Site Report blog!).
