There are a number of winery blogs which use this strategy successfully, but seeing it used in a non-winery situation (a high-end signmaker) points out some of the details which might be overlooked.
If you pick out one interesting visitor to your tasting room or winery each week, capture their story, and take some photos, you get an interesting blog post, and the subjects are bound to pass your name along to their friends.
