Straight outta New Bedford, it's TRAVESSIA Urban Winery. They don't have a real Web site yet (just this single page), but Marco Montez has been blogging on the TRAVESSIA Winery Blog since August, 2007.
On May 8, 2008, Marco posted a blog entry which began
I’ve done it. Today I launched what will most likely end up as one of the biggest projects of my life and potentially the biggest risk I’ve taken to this day. I’ve officially began the process of creating my winery.
Since then, Marco has been making an interesting post every week or so. I hope, like Josh Hermsmeyer or pinotblogger, that he'll be able to keep it up. BTW, "Travessia" means "journey" in Portugese, and that's certainly one way to describe starting a new winery in downtown New Bedford, MA, probably better known for whaling than for wine. Still, I'm wishing Marco a ton of good luck.

Thanks for the good luck wishes... luck certainly played a huge role in how I became an aspiring winemaker. To mention me in the same sentence as Josh Hermsmeyer is kind of scary... I can only dream of the day I will reach the type of blogging success and wine growing knowledge that Josh has amassed.
